Extensive Electrical Upgrades Bring Safety, Comfort, and Modern Lighting to Endicott Home

Cheetah Electric was proud to support this Endicott homeowner with a full home electrical modernization focused on safety, convenience, and long-term reliability. Our team—Garrett, Brandon, and several additional technicians—provided professional, friendly service from start to finish.
The project began with replacing the home’s aging 32-year-old electrical panel, bringing the system up to current code and improving overall electrical safety. Throughout the home, we added and repaired essential lighting and receptacles, including installing the first-ever ceiling light and fan in the main living space and restoring power to the “butterfly room,” allowing the homeowner to finally use their decorative lamps. We also resolved failed lighting in the computer room by troubleshooting and installing a modern fixture, along with adding new outlets and addressing other safety concerns.
Exterior improvements included updating outdoor covers, replacing a damaged panel box for the HVAC system, installing a missing security light on the garage gable, and upgrading multiple outdoor fixtures that had been removed or damaged during recent residing work.
To support the homeowner’s medical equipment needs, we also expanded the outlet capacity by adding multiple new circuits and receptacles—eliminating the need for extension cords and reducing tripping and fire hazards.
This comprehensive Panel upgrade and Replacement improved electrical safety, enhanced lighting throughout the home, and delivered greater comfort and peace of mind for the homeowners. Cheetah Electric was more than willing to help us out in our rural community. Garrett was very professional and polite. Brandon was knowledgeable and friendly. All staff were friendly and helpful. We have an older home, had an old electric panel that was 32 years old. We were updated by the dedicated electricians with new panel to be compliant with current codes. We have never had a light in our ceiling and yes, we now have a ceiling fan and light 💡 Our outlet for our named butterfly room never worked when we moved in May 2018. I now have my butterfly 🦋 lamps plugged in to accent the room. The light and ceiling fan in the computer room quit working. The Cheetah electricians were able to troubleshoot and replace with a more modern version. A few more outlets added and issues for safety were also addressed. Our house was resided and all outdoor lights were removed by DaBella. Cheetah Electricians updated our outdoor covers, replaced the damaged panel box for our new heating and cooling unit. They installed a security light that was missing at them top of our garage gable after being removed from the residing company. And they installed updated outdoor lighting after parts were missing from the residing company’s contractors. And Ric has a lot of medical equipment after his catastrophic work accident in July 2022, but not enough outlets. I had 2 extension cords in a double outlet for 9 pieces of equipment needed for Ric. We now thanks to Cheetah electricians have two - four outlets and two additional two outlets added. No more hazards with wires under my feet. Safety is essential and we new we needed our house updated. Cheetah Electric has provided pleasure and comfort for enjoyment and relaxation.
